About OG Customs

Oliver Ghysen

Former Belgian champion in kitesurfing, judge, and mechanical engineer. OG Customs is my passion project: designing the perfect big air handle that I couldn't find anywhere else.

What began as a personal experiment quickly grew into a product trusted by some of the world's best riders, including Andrea Principi and Cohan van Dijk. Every handle is designed, tested, and hand-finished by me personally.

Outside of OG Customs, I work as Lead Engineer at Common Sense Robotics, building AI-powered automation for manufacturing. I hold master's degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, and Artificial Intelligence.

The same engineering mindset that drives my professional work goes into every handle. From the flex geometry and material selection to the print process and quality control, nothing is left to chance.

All edges are smoothed by design, only the best materials are used, and tape is sealed with glue. These little details make all the difference.
