Rigid handles transfer more force into your board's inserts and deck than the soft, flexible handles some boards ship with. This can lead to inserts loosening or, in extreme cases, the board cracking. Using any third-party handle may void the warranty on your board. Check with your board manufacturer before installing.
Our handles include rubber baseplates that can deform and slide under load to absorb impacts. The top section has cutouts that allow it to bend rather than transmit force rigidly into the board. This is a genuine engineering effort to reduce stress on your inserts and deck.
Some boards (notably Carved and Lieuwe) were designed with soft, flexible handles in mind and are more sensitive to rigid alternatives. Since we introduced the rubber padding, we have not seen a single known failure case. If something does happen with your board, please reach out — it helps us improve. Use at your own risk.
Everything you need to mount your handle straight out of the bag.

The handles are printed in PETG — tough, durable, and UV-resistant. However, compared to injection-molded plastic, 3D printed objects have a layered structure that makes them inherently more fragile. The handles are designed to withstand normal use on the water, including occasional crashes, but should not be dropped on hard surfaces.
